The Caribbean Academy of Sciences (CAS) opened a call for abstracts for its 24th Biennial Conference and General Meeting (in-person), under the theme "Bridging Science, Technology and Society: Advancing the SDGs through Research, Innovation, and Action".
This year's conference will be hosted by the CAS Barbados Chapter from November 27th to 29th, 2025, at the School for Graduate Studies and Research, University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill Campus, Barbados.
This conference aims to foster and support the creation, sharing, and collaboration of knowledge, focusing on the combination of scientific insights, technological innovations, and societal demands to tackle pressing issues within the region and beyond.
The conference will be held in person, providing enhanced opportunities for networking among scientists, academics, researchers, experts, and practitioners. In addition to parallel paper presentations and poster sessions, the event will feature panel discussions and various opportunities for attendees to connect.
CAS invites original abstracts, papers, and posters that align with the conference theme.
