Dr. Andrea Rodríguez Sánchez – Colombia
It is with great pleasure that we announce that Dr. Andrea Rodríguez Sánchez is the winner of the IANAS Young Scientist Research Award 2022.
For the 2022 edition of the “Young Scientist Research Prize” awarded by the Inter-American Network of Academies of Science (IANAS) through its program Women for Science, a jury made up of members from the no-participating countries unanimously decided that the Prize winner is Dr. Andrea Rodriguez Sanchez from Colombia.
Andrea Rodríguez-Sánchez, social scientist with a Ph.D. in Peace, Conflict and Development Studies, UNESCO Chair for Philosophy for Peace, Institute for Social Development, Result awarded: outstanding and cum laude. Awarded Best PhD Thesis in Arts and Humanities, Jaume I University, Castellon-Spain in 2019.
In addition, the jury agreed to award Dr. Alicia Rojas from Costa Rica with an Honorable Mention, in recognition of her merits.
