Dr. Mark Wuddivira is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Food Production and Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Food and Agriculture, the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago. He holds a Ph.D. in Soil Science and has published widely in high impact journals and book chapters covering areas such as precision agriculture, agricultural and environmental soil and water management, agricultural environmental soil physics, soil structure, soil processes and function, infiltration and susceptibility of soils to seal formation, runoff and erosion under intense humid tropical rainfall and mitigation strategies, soil water characteristic and hydrology in tropical ecosystems, soil and watershed geophysical imaging using electromagnetic induction. His research has focused on soil conservation strategies and the use geophysical techniques for precision food production towards food security in Small Island Developing States.
