Lidio Martínez Cairo

Born in Dominican Republic, November 7, 1942. Graduated as Agronomist in 1969, University of Santo Domingo. Post graduated in Animal Production in 1971, University of Santo Domingo and in Tropical Agronomy in 1973, Queensland University, Australia.
Lectured in botany and pasture production from 1973 until 1989 at the University of Santo Domingo. From 1990 until 2015 worked in extension projects, as adviser in animal production in Dominican Republic and Haiti and in pasture seed business.
Actually works as Technical Coordinator of a Food Export Project (SAFE) sponsored by the United States Department of Agriculture implemented in 11 provinces of Dominican Republic by National Cooperative Business Association (NCBA CLUSA) and Junta Agroempresarial Dominicana (JAD), 2016 – 2020. To improve dairy and beef value chains.
