Within the framework of actions aimed at disseminating and popularizing scientific knowledge in society, the Concytec, through the Special Program for the Popularization of Science, Technology and Innovation (PPOP), will hold the seventh edition of the Science and Society Colloquium called Quality of water: health of ecosystems and human health, this edition being the first to be organized internationally.

Within the framework of actions aimed at disseminating and popularizing scientific knowledge in society, the Concytec, through the Special Program for the Popularization of Science, Technology and Innovation (PPOP), will hold the seventh edition of the Science and Society Colloquium called Quality of water: health of ecosystems and human health, this edition being the first to be organized internationally.
This event will count with the participation of specialists from Nicaragua, Colombia, Venezuela, the USA, China, Mexico, Panama, Granada, Canada, India, Brazil and Peru. Among them we can highlight the participation of the IANAS co-directors, Katheirne Vammen and Henry Vaux; Ernesto González, IANAS focal point in Venezuela; Kala Vairavamoorthy, Executive Director of the International Water Association, Zhi-Ming Yu, of the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Rajendra Madhavrao Shende, former Director of the United Nations Environment Program; Iván Lucich, Chairman of the Board of the Superintendency of Water and Sanitation (SUNASS), among others.
