COMING SOON: December 3, 2021 – Predatory Academic Practices WEBINAR

IANAS members, researchers in the Americas and other interested parties are invited to participate in a free, online webinar, “Predatory Academic Practices: Regional Perspectives and Learning” organised by the InterAcademy Partnership and the Inter-American Network of Academies of Science (IANAS) on Friday 3 December 2021, 1600 to 1800 UTC.  The webinar is designed to help researchers learn more about predatory academic practices and minimise their risk of using them.  

Interested participants are welcome to register for multiple sessions though some of the material will be common to all of them. There will be opportunities to submit questions to the speakers and panellists.

All researchers, as well as those in other related sectors (such as research funders and publishers, and libraries and indexing services) are encouraged to participate. 

Participants will receive a Zoom link to join ahead of the event.
