The InterAmerican Network of Academies of Sciences (IANAS) has expressed its solidarity with the Venezuelan community following the earthquakes that have affected the country on June 24, 2026. In a letter addressed to Alicia Ponte-Sucre, President of the Academia de Ciencias Físicas, Matemáticas y Naturales (ACFIMAN), IANAS Co-Chairs Karen B.
